Engaged Fathers and Men supports male community members who want a stronger relationship with their children, family, and community. Relational, Engagement, Advocacy, and Legacy are the core components of this program.  Engaged Fathers and Men focuses its efforts on the following areas:

  • Advocacy/Community Voice
  • Positive youth development
  • Resources and referrals
  • Relational skills

Who can participate:

  • Men living in Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson

What to expect:

  • In the community, fathers and men receive 1:1 mentoring and support while they discuss fatherhood, masculinity, trauma, healing, and future goals.
  • Support groups at ReadyKids.
  • Community engagement relating to men’s mental health, wellness, re-entry, and fatherhood.
