It's the last week to donate a board game or art supply to our donation drive! By donating, you're providing a fun, family bonding activity to a local child. While you're doing your holiday shopping, consider grabbing an extra item to donate! Thank you to everyone who has supported the drive so far 🎨♟️

There’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things. Whether you're helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts. With support from our community, ReadyKids offers high-quality programs to Charlottesville area kids, families, and early childhood educators.
Keep kids in mind this Giving Tuesday! We have three easy ways you can support ReadyKids today:
1. Donate a board game or art supply to our holiday drive (link in bio)
2. Extend your impact and become a monthly donor

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the Game and Art Supply Drive! The drive is happening now through December 8, so there's still time to donate!
While you're shopping those Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, consider adding a game or art supply to your cart! Your donation of a new game or art supply will be passed on to a local child to enjoy with their family.
One recipient from last year's drive shared: "Thank you for the gifts to my kids. It was also a great blessing to me, their mother. [...] We are looking forward to the holidays this year. I am truly grateful."
Check out our Amazon wishlist to donate to ReadyKids (Link in bio)! Many of our favorite activities are on sale on Amazon throughout the month of November! After the drive, parents, caregivers, or older siblings of ReadyKids participants will select a game or art activity to enjoy together.

The weather is getting colder so it feels like the perfect time to share a fun, engaging indoor activity that you can do at home! Contact paper art is an endless art project, just keep in mind what materials are developmentally appropriate given your kiddos age! Have older 3-5 year olds? Try out the window and smaller materials, like buttons, beads, and small paper bits to expand on fine motor development! If you're doing this activity with younger toddlers or infants try the low wall or floor and use felt, foam pieces, or extra large caps/ lids!
