Family Support Worker

Full time – 40 Hours per week

The Family Support Worker (FSW) is responsible for initiating and maintaining regular (at least weekly or as determined by client’s Healthy Family Level) and long-term (up to five years) contact/support with families aimed at improving parent-child relationship. They are also responsible for educating families on child development, and supporting family functioning. The FSW will conduct regular developmental screenings and parent-child interaction assessments.  Additionally, FSW will monitor the families’ connection to medical home providers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human services field or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English and one of the following preferred languages: Dari, Farsi, or Pashto.
  • Experience working with children and families.
  • Current and valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Infant Toddler Specialist

(Part time – 20 hours per week)

Designs, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates training and professional development within a designated region to increase the capacity of early care and education programs (child care and family care) to deliver high quality services to infants and toddlers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of early childhood program experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of licensing and quality standards.
  • Experience coaching/training adult learners.
  • Willing to travel within region.
