Early Education Specialist

Full time – 30 hours per week
Salary: $26,676

Responsible for the following job duties:

  • The Early Education Specialist works as part of a team to implement and facilitate family oriented, neighborhood based early-learning programming in partnership with the Family Support Specialist.
  • The Early Education Specialist is also an advocate for educational access, and collaborates with community partners to identify and reduce barriers to participation in educational systems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience providing direct service to children and/or families or Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
  • Current and valid driver’s license required. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Community Engagement and Inclusion Strategist

Full time – 40 hours per week
Salary: $45,000

Responsible for the following job duties:

  • Create and lead ReadyKids’ community engagement and inclusion strategy.
  • Conduct strategic community outreach.
  • Establish authentic community listening practices to best inform ReadyKids’ response to community needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent experience to bachelor’s degree and/or bachelor’s degree required, experience in community organizing and/or advocacy especially helpful
  • Strong people skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
  • Demonstrated skills in authentic listening, motivational interviewing, and reaching marginalized communities

Communications Officer

Full time – 32 hours per week
Salary: $32,000

The Communications Officer reports to the Director of Philanthropy and works closely with the Director of Philanthropy, Philanthropy Officer, and Program Directors to design and implement a comprehensive communications, marketing and volunteer plan for the agency overall and individual ReadyKids’ programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in the nonprofit sector, including communications and marketing experience preferred.
  • Possess strong people skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environment, and exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills while completing tasks of the position.
  • Solid multi-tasker that is flexible and enjoys varied job tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to express and transmit ideas in a clear and organized manner, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships within and outside the agency in a professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Adobe Suite Design Software.

Early Learning Specialist

Full time – 40 hours per week
Salary: $38,000

The Early Learning Specialist provides training and consultation to improve the measurable quality of teaching and caregiving practices in early childhood care and education settings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Significant experience with leadership role in preschool/birth-5 setting required.
  • Experience training adult learners setting required.
  • Experience with CLASS™ observation process preferred.
  • Familiarity with new technologies and virtual platforms.
  • Willing to travel within region.
