ReadyKids Benefits Summary

The ReadyKids Board has worked hard to ensure competitive benefit packages for employees, which include employee health insurance, paid holidays, retirement benefits, supplemental insurance, paid leave, 529 plans, health savings accounts, dental insurance and life insurance.

All Employees:

Paid Holidays

ALL EMPLOYEES ARE PAID FOR 22 APPROVED AGENCY HOLIDAYS PER YEAR – WHICH INCLUDE THE WEEK BETWEEN DECEMBER 24TH AND JANUARY 1ST

Retirement Benefits

NATIONWIDE RETIREMENT PLAN – Employee Contribution/Employer Match

    1. Pre-tax and Roth contributions through payroll deductions
    2. ReadyKids matches employee contributions at 100% per pay period up to $1,000.00 and then 50% per pay period for up to a total of $2,000 per fiscal year
    3. Minimum $200 per year deferral

Supplemental Insurance

AFLAC SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE – Employee Paid

    1.  Payroll deduction option short-term disability, accident, and cancer insurance
    2. Minimum requirement to participate is over 20 hours per week
    3. Premium 100% paid by employee

Employer Sponsored 529 Plan

With the employer sponsored CollegeAmerica 529 plan, there are no trading charges or annual maintenance fees. The employee is responsible for setting up and funding the account.

Parental Leave

ReadyKids will provide up to 6 weeks of paid parental leave to employees following the birth of an employee’s child or the placement of a child with an employee in connection with adoption or foster care.

Option 1.a. Anthem HealthKeepers Silver Plan – 3400/20%/8000 w/Health Savings Account
      1. Preventative care covered at 100%
      2. Predictable out-of-pocket costs – co-insurance 20% after deductible
      3. Network of doctors, hospitals, and services covered by plan
      4. No referrals required for specialists
      5. Employee only plan 100% paid by employer

 

Option 1.b. Health Equity Health Savings Account
    1. Employer contribution $85.00/month
    2. Employee ownership of account

 

Option 2. Anthem HealthKeepers Silver Plan with Premium Saver Gap Plan – $250 deductible
    1.  Preventative care covered at 100%
    2. Predictable out-of-pocket costs – office visit copay; zero deductible
    3. Network of doctors, hospitals and services covered by plan
    4. No referrals required for specialists
    5. Employee only plan 100% paid by Employer

 

Option 3. Anthem HealthKeepers Gold Plan – 0/25/70
    1. Preventative care covered at 100%
    2. Predictable out-of-pocket costs – office visit copay; zero deductible
    3. Network of doctors, hospitals and services covered by plan
    4. No referrals required for specialists
    5. Partial employee paid premium

Dental Insurance

Option 1. Ameritas Low Plan
    1. Employee only plan 100% paid by Employer
    2. Basic Preventive Care – Dental cleaning twice per year

 

Option 2.  Ameritas High Plan
    1. Partial Employee paid premium
    2. Basic Preventive Care – Dental Cleaning twice per year – Limited Orthodontics, Prosthesis
      and Restorative Services.

Life Insurance

Unum Life Insurance – $25,000 life insurance policy – (Employer Paid)

    • If you have reached age 65, but not age 70, your amount of life insurance will be:
      • 65% of the amount of life insurance you had prior to age 65; or
      • 65% of the amount of life insurance shown above if you become insured on or after age 65 but before age 70.
    • If you have reached age 70 or more, your amount of life insurance will be:
      • 50% of the amount of life insurance you had prior to your first reduction; or
      • 50% of the amount of life insurance shown above if you become insured on or after age 70.

Vision Insurance

Anthem Blue View – Optional vision insurance

    • Premium 100% paid by Employee
    • Coverage for frames and lenses
    • Laser vision correction
